jimi and i have already started trying to figure it out, but i relocated my battery to put on the ffim, and im ready to crank it up, but i get nothing when i turn the key, all the accesories inside are on and the fuel pump goes, but the starter wont even click, its alot like if you try to turn the key without pushing in the clutch(although i am pushing the clutch in). the other thing i did was change out the steering column with one from a parts car (although i dont have the key from it) i know this sounds like a dumb question but do i need to switch out my lock cylinder to the original one, or go get a key from toyota for the parts car?

any help would be greatly appreciated

Did you trip the factory alarm? I say this because when mine does this (and it happens quite often for some reason) mine does the exact same thing that yours does.

What I have to do is lock the drivers door, close it, then use the key again to unlock it.

If that doesn't fix it then I'd say you'd have to switch the lock cylinder.

It sounds as if something is not pluged in Ben. So how are you trying to turn it over with no key?
I wish I had time today to come over and help ya out.

Haha, that was actually my first thought was the starter wire. The same thing happened when I went to crank mine the first time. I had knocked the wire loose routing all the vac lines.
