Yeah I've really been pushing it, I just keep going till I'm basically delirious..... is stopping now!
The PS pump took all of the force and absorbed enough of it for the front of the engine to roll and settle on the harmonic dampener.... i think.... it seemed, oh man talk about slow motion...
I was just setting her down for the night on some blocks and I didn't realize my downpipe was resting on the engine pickers leg probably because i'm tired as hell, as I pulled the picker away the engine tilted off the blocks and fell sideways from about 1 foot up landing on the PS pulley and...
Gord have you hooked up a mechanical oil pressure gauge yet? I think that's the very first thing you need to do.
My stock gauge says 35 cold start and 1 hot idle, I hooked up a mechanical gauge to check and I'm actually getting 70psi cold start and 10-15 hot idle.
I know I'm 7M but still...
Happy Birfday!!!!
Just remember to bring proper bday verification to dinner!

This is the same brand of gasket that Toyota uses (stone)
Try champion first...
I wouldn't use anything other than Stone gasket sets and gaskets man.

Never heard of...
I was at a red light today and I went to go on green until I noticed my car was off... started right up, backfired once deceling in 3rd from 4th so I pulled over, Idle was sporadically a bit low and odd.
Code 31 while driving home, got her in the garage and code 24 and 31
took off the afm set...
Damn hooligans!!.....
Well darn, the only other place I think I can trust is a place called Bothwell, they are a general repair shop but mainly a race team with this crazy twin turbo'd mustang they compete with. They do amazing work the guys are fun to talk to and strictly business &always...
So I went back and he said this time that the rear caster is pretty bad and the car will veer slightly until I get new shocks.
He said that the steering wheel isn't lining up because the rack and pinion is probably going out.
Nothing I can afford to replace anytime soon but good to know.
Okay well the wheel alignment cost me $70 so I think I'll go back and keep bothering them until they can actually tell me what is wrong.
I need to get my moneys worth first. I'll be calling around for a 4 wheel rack also.
Thanks Ian
I don't think I like Big O Tires. I mean they specifically do suspension and tire maintenance but the place seems to be overrun by overconfident mexicans now. Not to be racist but that's how it is. They are all Mexican, it seems kind of racist, this specific shop used to be more diverse and more...
When I first bought my car the inside of both my front tires were showing threads and the outside were good.
I had my back tires rotated to the front today which were very good and new tires on the back followed by an alignment and balance at Big O Tires.
On a side note I think I need to take...
The correct size is M10x1.25x70mm.
I came across this thread because I needed the same bolts for my engine stand and bought the 100mm posted above which was way too long.
So I thought I'd contribute. :)
