I am making it sound like they are all like that, because they ARE all like that. These days you're not going to find a great pair of cams/journals. But that doesn't matter...because like I said, they will work fine.

The cam journals always look like shit, I know it sounds stupid but: it will be perfectly fine. And even if you clean them up, in a few thousand miles they will look like that again.

My dashboard tail light....light...is half on. Dimmer than the other lights but still bright. All the lights work though. Not sure why I'm saying this as I'm going to clean all the bulbs and sockets tomorrow, I guess I'm just tired...

The fusible link goes in the same place as the main alternator fuse...you either have one or the other, you don't have both. Either one will work fine. Bad connection with the fuse would cause some problems, yes. So it runs normally now?

Outlet is 2", no idea what the inlet is. The outlet is not 2.5".

Look into replacement SBC valve springs (search, I can't remember anything right now haha), they made a big difference on my motor when I did my HG. Top end stayed alive for a lot longer.

Ovenrude ported/ceramic coated a spare one I bought a few years ago and I had it dyno tested. Spool time was decreased...the thread is on SF I believe, and I have the dyno chart lying around here somewhere...

Porting the stock manifold spools the turbo about 4-500 rpm quicker iirc.

They have the same mounting points but they are different calipers. I'm wondering now if the brackets were made to specifically fit those huge rotors (most likely) or if you could swap in the stock ls400 rotors and caliper (that isn't machined down) and have it fit correctly.

Pull the pins out of the ECU connector, shave some insulation down exposing bare wire, solder a small piece of wire across both of them. Unplug one of the knock sensors. I did it a week or two ago, pissed that I couldn't get two good knock sensors (wiring was good).
