What kind of turbo do you have? It might be enough of a difference.
Also how are you measuring fuel pressure? Should be around 35-40 stock anyways. Do a quick search for what it should be and check it out.
Sounds like bullshit. You better spend the next few days researching EVERYTHING about ignition/cam timing so you can check yourself and know FOR SURE.
Don't take your car to any mom and pop shops that your friends/family recommend.
edit: by ear is not to way to do it, ever, unless you are in...
Damn...I don't follow your threads nearly as much as I should. Is that what prompted the LS motor chained to the a340e? I remember that.
Shit, sorry to hijack supraguy =X IJ., did you ever make any brake caliper brackets back in the day?
IJ: When was that!
supraguy: yup, spherical bearing is Toyota only. With the poly it'll feel a lot tighter, you'll be happy with it. No hints to give since you don't have to cut any of the alignment bolts out, but be SURE to clean everything good (washers, nuts and alignment bolts) so it...

I've installed the front and rears, have you taken any out? Why are you replacing them, are the bolts frozen into the bushings?
Archon, I PMed you but just in case you didn't get it or something, did you just throw a bracket together or did you draw up a diagram/schematic of where the bolt locations should be?
Interested in mounting up some LS400 rotors and calipers on my car (they fit in a 16" rim) and they share the...
Looking to see if anyone has any info on the night pager brackets that aren't being made any more. Want to bolt the '96 LS400 front brakes/calipers up to the mkiii hub.
If the night pager bracket was already made and someone has a set/has dimensions, that'd be great.
Otherwise, if anyone had...
Already had a bhg and replaced it with an own... retorqued after 3 or 4 heat cycles but is rather do it again after a few thousand miles to be sure.
Devin, you know you can't quit now after all you've done :P
Well shit, looks like I'm going to retorque my head this week a second time just for good measure.
Put it away and slap an OEM gasket on there with the ARP hardware you have, it'll hold for the power levels you're asking for :)
Yes, that leak from the turbo to elbow will cause a weird exhaust profile increasing backpressure...not sure if it would have the effects you're describing though. Have to go back and tighten everything up =\
...which was over 20 years ago, and that doesn't negate what he said about pressure drop anyways. Not to mention heat soak.
I'm sure you'll upgrade your intercooler down the line and notice a difference, but for now you're just going to need to push the turbo more and you'll see a big power...
There is a Haynes manual for the MKIII Supra, but unfortunately MKII Supra information is included inside. Normally that wouldn't be a problem, but they try to provide information for both vehicles when talking about removing/replacing 'x' part...often they mix up the pictures or don't talk...
Best (only) way to do it is to thread everything in one or two threads so everything is pliable, connect everything, and start torquing things down (like a few others said).
I got a softline kit from DM and even that needed the CT26 to be loosened up, there's no way around it. Nice kit though...
