the right side intake valve opens to push the air through that tube lookin thing into the exhaust, really shouldnt be any wasted energy. i just love the fact they went through all that, and then they threw in the turbo.

i plan on going with a dual filter head. summit racing sells a kit for pretty cheap, and it has tons of hose included, but i was going to use the black SS fittings from summit also...

few questions: did you ever check on the shaft play during the life of the turbo? and why not just rebuild the 1st ct that you killed, even just an OEM rebuild is fine... what kind of oil did you use?

yeah, its called EGR, if you were to put in on your USDM supra you would notice a lot of benefits, and i dont know how strick your smog is, but you might have issues with the USDM ecu and having no EGR.

thats only on part throttle, and light loads like going up hills... EGR isnt open at WOT...
