i would love to come up on somebody and just rev it so they could hear it, and just watch them give the "WTF IS THAT THING!?!?!?!" look to me. would have been a little 'cooler' with a 1jz or a 2jz. only because people who rebuild 7m's i dont trust... haha

i just know from a lot of previous builds that people tend to shoot for a certain HP level, some hit exactly the power they want because they kind of go small on mods, and then others go for larger power levels (above 550hp) and they either are happy with whatever they get, or get power hungry...

according to everybody here, the stock gauge will not show pressure. guess every car is a little different... i just dont see the point in pulling plugs just to crank the motor... i've always, even on rebuilds, put the motor in complete, pulled the EFI fuse, and just crank it.

how about 6psi then? anything over 10 is what im really wondering... especially some of these guys pushing 20 and 18 psi!!!!! (i understand your point, but its splitting hairs IMO)

arent the injectore also high impediance where as the n/a injectors are low impeadince or something like that?

those pans dont look that clean... or maybe its just me? but goodluck on the rebuild and the swap. im sure you'll enjoy it a lot afterwards.

you dont have to pull the plugs. just undo the efi fuse, just like a rebuild. and then just crank it like a mother... but it does take a while, and with the supras crummy wiring... it doesnt help...

and i have my mouth wired shut... i've been craving one of those all week... this shut sucks. i want a 3x3 so bad...

+1 on that. if it COULD NOT spin at all, ask for a whole new turbo, or at least a new exhaust wheel. Because all that means is that there was direct contact with the housing which isnt good for the blades. take some pics and post em up. but either way i hope it gets resolved the right way.

what i discovered while troubleshooting my friends car was that, his car was FULLY charged, and i wanted to prime it before we started it because it had sat for a while. so i sat here and i hit 'start' with the key, and it spun and spun and spun and spun, i had to do like 3 long ass terms for it...

why would you buy a car thats a 'good deal' just to say its roof is all fucked up and its going to cost you $500? obvisouly wasnt that great of a deal... and for gods sake its a 94 camry!!!!!!!! give me a break... drive it till it blows. also you havent seen many body jobs that look good...

for those of you who have been running above stock boost (over 9psi) who rebuilt your turbo?

never quite saw the point of importing an entire skyline... sure there cool and all, but wouldnt it just be cheaper to fly to where they have them and race them there. if i were him i would just throw it in storage though and say you trashed the car. hahaha
