if you can powder coat i would, its a tought coating, far superior to paint. you can get them to look polished with powder coat also, not to mention all of the different colors powder coat has, and the 'vein' style powder coat looks really good.

i've been wondering, is it just a mufler? or is it a FULL exhaust from the cat-back?

your talking about such marginal HP and TQ its not worth if... the Tanabe exhaust has two big mufflers in it which is why its so quiet, but people love it. on the other hand you have the RSR exhaust which is damn near straight as a line and one tiny muffler on the back, but its loud as hell...

there are some drawbacks to forged pistons though... you have to get the machining done the right way. you have to have the correct piston to bore clearance. and with the probes you have to cut your rings by hand (or machine). the NPR you could just hone the cylinders if there not horriblely...

we thought we could get away with not cutting the crank on a rebuild, started it up, rod knock. for the $85 it cost to cut the crank, it cost us over $200+ and not to mention we had to repull the engine and trans. dont cut corners, do it the right way the first time.

or just weld in another straight thru muffler, should tone it down quite a bit. vibrant sells those "ultra quiet resonators" also which are just about the same thing.

uhh... i owned a 2g GST. and he is no way full of crap... DSM's are easy as shit to work on. my dad got one off in less than 3 hours by himself... and that was after we had dropped it all in together from rebuilding the engine. and on the flywheel, short socket with an impact wrench is your BEST...

arent H&R's progressive? if so, then depending on the spring rates, they sound perfect for a DD. because the H&R's are a tad bit too low. dont get me wrong, i love the look, but, with H&R's and tokico blues, a little low, and roughhhhhhh as hell. but defintaley get some details on the coil...

i've never seen a set of those anywhere above 16''... most are used by drift and honda dudes because there 4 lug and have high offsets plus low rim width... if you manage to find a set, post the link, because more than likely they'll also have other rims. rbwheels.com is a good place...

i would say go for it. its going to be hard to make a coil over to please everybody, but its always nice to see more suspension stuff. i didnt even know they made coil overs... and after looking at the website, they make some very nice looking coil overs, and i would love to hear about that...

you can helicoil the last one with the head on, just need a right angle drill... go ask my dad. haha my gasket kit came with a MLS type gasket for that one, but the mani to head one is a composite like most others.
