I wouldn't worry about it, as mentioned, I'm sure it was just a mistake, an isolated incident for sure. We've done business with them for years with no problems.

The one from a Lexus or MK4 Supra? Well, it would work, but it would involve rewiring the fuel pump system (replacing the Circuit Opening Relay)... since that's not part of the engine harnes, I wouldn't be able to do it here.

The ALT fuse has power when the key is on... but, that made me thing of something...
One could try connecting the circuit opening relay FC wire to another relay that has the charging warning light circuit going though it, so as long as the alternator is charging (charge warning light is off)...
Well good news guys, I may have figured out a way to accomplish this same thing in the $40 - $45 range, stay tuned :)
Mario, you want to test this for me?
JMDigital,
I suffer from something very similar to what you're describing. The only thing that gets be out of bed most days is that I have employees coming to work that I need to set an example for... HAHAHA
A fun community to hang out with is definitely a great help.
W00t for SM :D

That's how we say to set them up in the instructions we send with our harnesses, some people just run the Fuel Pump Switch wire to a ground and forget about it.
Hey everyone,
After a recent discussion here on the forum I put forth effort into working with an automotive electronics company on developing a Fuel Shutoff Safety Switch for 2JZ and 1JZ Soarer engines.
What is it?
The Fuel Shutoff Safety Switch is a small electronic module that turns a fuel...
Okay I've been in contact with an electronics company I work with and I have good news. They can build us a module to turn the fuel pump on when a tach signal is being received just like we need. The module is $99. If anyone wants one, just let me know!

Yeah you don't want any vacuum lines open to atmosphere, that's probably you're high idle right there. Also 20 inHg is a tad low, which also points to a vacuum leak.

Also doublecheck the engine two harness grounds that bolt to the intake manifold. The ECU needs power on IGSW and +B, as well as ground on E1, to turn the check engine light on.

That grey plug is for the hydraulic fan ECU.
The white plug is for stock auto tranny wiring (normally not used).
In other words, you shouldn't need to plug in either of those.

Yeah I was trying to think of a pin on the ECU that gives either of those signals all the time and only when the engine is running, but I can't think of anything. All the ECU inputs and outputs work normally with the key on/engine off.
ECUs that use a Circuit Opening Relay give a ground...
