    because the factory LSD is nothing compared to a properly functioning clutch type LSD. aftermarket and TRD are generally a LOT more aggressive than the OEM one. lol, thanks for the counting teeth tip but i was hoping to avoid having to crack diffs open at the junkyard :p

    the W58 was changed in '89, internally it was changed from an aluminum sandwich plate to a steel sandwich plate, which made it SLIGHTLY stronger than the older (pre '89) W58s. when i said "stronger version" i was being specific in terms of an updated W58. not upgrading to an R154/V160/V161
