    Someone can feel free to correct me if im wrong, but i beieve the dash brace was welded like that on purpose from the factory so that it would absorb the energy of a side impact better....i think if it was fully welded it wouldnt "absorb" the energy as much, and i dont think toyota would not...

    Sounds good to me, unless you want to modify it for a 3rd port, so that you can run off both valve covers individually to the catch can, and then use the 3rd to the pre-turbo. Either way....

    I thought a standard bore 400 with a 350 crank came to 377, and then adding a .030 bore job would bring it to 383, but then i double checked my calcs, and .030 over 400 = 377 with the 350 crank, its when its .060 over that its up to 383...thats what i get for not keeping up with my chevy...

    Mike, the framerails and front x-member are from Competition Engineering, and everything else was sourced from Quarter Max racing. It was all "universal" stuff, so much fab work was done to get things to work. I wish i had the tooling to do everythign in my garage, but it was enough of a chore...

    I would have gotten one already, but unfortunately the crank trigger setup i have bolts up to the 4 holes on the inside of the stock dampener, and the ati setup doesnt have that....i could always make ANOTHER custom stand-off for the trigger wheel, but im tired of getting custom stuff...

    I am, but unless you're going to be over 1000hp or strictly drag, the th350 or 400 is a better choice due to its steeper 1st gear. There are many places to get parts to build a bulletproof pg...TCI, BTE, dedenbear, etc. The one i have built now is rated to handle 1800hp or so.....
