Just wondering if anyone is using a 2 spd glide in their car. If so I'd like to know where i can source out the parts to be able to do this.

Thanks in advance.

I am, but unless you're going to be over 1000hp or strictly drag, the th350 or 400 is a better choice due to its steeper 1st gear. There are many places to get parts to build a bulletproof pg...TCI, BTE, dedenbear, etc. The one i have built now is rated to handle 1800hp or so.....

Hey Bryan, thanks for posting. I was just wondering as an opportunity has come up that I may be able to buy one of these tranny's. At this moment it's all up in the air but I am considering building a MKIII drag car out of an old rotten 87 ht I have just pulled out of a jungle..lol..Just not as extensive as yours. Stock rear gear and axles. I've been following the kit oneandgone has on the go but since this glide came up i just thought I'd ask. If I do decide to follow through with this I hope you won't mind if i pick your brain a little.

Thanks Don.

Don, feel free to pick all you want.

Be aware that the stock pg input shaft is weak (about 17 splines iirc), and is usually swapped out for an aftermarket TH350/400 splined unit. This necessitates use of a th350/400 converter, which isnt a big deal. Also, if you do use the pg, the use of the na 4.30 rear is almost a must (to help with that lazy ass 1.76 1st gear) so rasising the rev limit is in order due to the fact that 1) there will be some converter slippage, and 2) obviously the 4.30s will have you winding her up a bit on the top end....

anymore questions, feel free to ask.
