i just recieved my TRD catchcan. i'm pretty sure i know how it goes; but i just want to double check. there are 2 ports on the top. 1 to the valve covers and the other to the pre-turbo vacuum.. correct?

Sounds good to me, unless you want to modify it for a 3rd port, so that you can run off both valve covers individually to the catch can, and then use the 3rd to the pre-turbo.

Either way....

yeah use a Y connector for valve covers and then with mine the other hose will go to my intake tube on the turbo...

well i modified the stock PCV metal piece. i can run off both valve covers with 1 hose. :)

Sweet, sounds good. Also, the stock 7mge PCV hose works well, it's like a "U" pipe between the two covers, with a port in the U to send off to the can.

Sorry to go off topic but shaeff you are going to hit up the rust in the engine bay too correct?

yes, all the rust will eventually be taken care of. exterior first, as that's the worst of it. the underhood stuff is surface rust, and can easily be fixed.

and i have mine strapped to the brake booster.
