    500whp Reliable for Under 5g's?

Not for $5k. Intake, exhaust, boost controller, intercooler, hardpipes, injectors, fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump, fuel computer, and turbo will run you $3500 alone. You'll spend more than $1500 in worn out hoses, broken vacuum lines, ARP hardware, new clutch, and tires that will give you...

    yes another maft pro question

The MAFT Pro needs to see the WB output. The stock ECU still needs to see a narrowband output. Furthermore, the heater circuit for the original narrowband needs a resistor installed in it to prevent the ECU from thinking it's dead.

    HID Bulbs & Headlight Housing

Check out theretrofitsource.com. To do this right, you need a set of cheap ebay H4 7x6 diamond cut housings, a set of projectors, and HID bulbs / ballasts / wiring. You can get everything but the housings from their site. Then, pull apart the cheap housings, chop up the reflector, mount the...

" we buy your 7m injectors" who was it?

Good chance you can sell them on here to one of the NA-T guys if you wait a bit. Or if you have a membership at celicasupra, they tend to be in much bigger demand with the mk2 crowd.

    The Notorious 90 Degree hose

I have a set of those pliers. Problem is, I rarely carry them in the car with me, and the last time I blew one of these I was 600 miles from home.

    The Notorious 90 Degree hose

Agreed. Hate that hose. And the one on the back of the engine, too. Last time I bought these from Toyota, I just bought 4 of each, and I keep a spare in the car at all times. Someone should get these duplicated in high temp silicone...

    rear windshield washer not working?

There really isn't much to this system. You're probably looking at a clog or a pinched line, and the procedure for both is pretty much the same - pick up some extra line and run a temp straight to the nozzle. If it works then, work your way back along the line, plugging it in and testing it...

    Exhaust manifold for 2JA70

This has been done more than a few times... some guys build their own manifolds, of course, like Ron. Oddly enough, I'm not sure which one is in mine, I should probably talk to the PO about that.

anybody done a ford 5.0 swap?

Cheap chassis is nice. Free engine is nice. A year or more of custom fab work to get engine mounts, transmission, driveline, exhaust, that fit sucks. Possibly having to cut out the transmission tunnel and weld in something larger double sucks. Having to buy all custom gauges because none of...

Wait, you revived a post that's over 4 years old, just to say that? Dude, that's poor form.

Pulling engine - what to do, what not to do..

Pull them both. It's WAY easier. I've done it both ways, many times, and I'll never go back to pulling just the engine. Be really careful with the clearances - this engine is a *lot* pickier about clearances than a domestic.

Pulling engine - what to do, what not to do..

As for upgrades and such... for that kind of power level, you'll need: - intake - full exhaust from the turbo back - something to control boost levels - fuel upgrades - e.g. lexus AFM + 550cc injectors, better fuel pump, adjustable FPR, or some system that does the same thing - A better...

Blue mk3 with racing strip XD FTW! HOpefuly 2jz swap :D/ 6speed help?

My apology for mentioning searching, however, I stand by my assessment. Your post is belittling, when it should be instructive. You accuse the OP of being either a liar or ignorant, yet offer no tips to remedy either problem, beyond the vague 'reading'. Furthermore, I've been called out on a...

    ARP head bolt tool????

I fully expected to pop a few sockets on this job, so I bought six craftsman 1/2" sockets. Never did break one, so I still have them all.

Blue mk3 with racing strip XD FTW! HOpefuly 2jz swap :D/ 6speed help?

Really? Where? How do I find this information? There is a link in my signature, I suggest you read it. Whining about some other member's inability to search is simple litter in our database. Furthermore, it makes the search less effective, because the next time someone searches for "getrag...

    oil in intercooler and piping.

You need to figure out what is causing this. Generally, oil in the IC pipes and IC is caused by one of two things: 1. Excessive blowby in the engine, pointing to high wear, worn rings, or cracked pistons. 2. Leaking turbos. It's unlikely that your PCV is the source of the problem, instead of a...
