Some good ideas here.
Furthermore, anyone who is trying to charge $600 for the stock cooler from Toyota is full of shit. According to this, sale price should be ~$366. http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/EPC/291420/part.aspx?S=15710
LOL - no, the brake pads don't go out that fast, I get plenty of warning. A while back, I thought my rear pads were going by the squealing noise, so I picked up a set of pads and threw it in the toolbox. Turned out the squeal wasn't the brakes, it was a bit of debris caught in the pad - pulled...
What I mean is that either wire should get you a good signal. You'll have to use the adapter on the small one to make it fit an aftermarket head unit, however.
And you'll get a crappy signal off the large one if the antenna wasn't up at the time.
Both antenna lines should work fine. If they don't, chances are there is something wrong with your wiring... was the antenna extended when you tried it?
A simple GM mini plug adapter will make the small one fit. The small one uses the antenna built into the rear hatch glass.
If you want to do a proper retrofit, it's a bit complex, but not impossible by a long shot.
You pick up a projector kit, first of all. I bought mine from http://theretrofitsource.com however there are many places you can go. I went here on a recommendation from another member here, and was...
LOL - I'm the opposite - I had the header ceramic coated right away, and I still lost a couple. But my damn CPS needed to be rebuilt, the inner seal was letting it leak oil on everything below it.
Post a pic of your cutoff pattern... even aimed properly, HID's in crappy housings put too much scatter above the line that blinds oncoming traffic. That level of scatter is acceptable when you are using halogens, simply because they don't output anywhere near as much light.
The ebay housings...
I use an AAA membership. I don't carry a spare, and I haven't for at least two decades by now. Haven't had to call AAA due to a flat, either.
I'd rather use the room for some tools, some oil, and a spare set of brake pads.
Another bit to add to the pile.
Consider this: my 2J car runs 540 rwhp daily. What fuel does that require? Well, you could probably do it with 550cc injectors, if you ran a lot of pressure, and were willing to run it on the ragged edge. What do I actually have? 890cc injectors, AND a water /...
We can get them cheaper here from Yamaha, it's the same system they used in one of their motorcycles from the same era. DamnifIcanremember exactly which bike, but I'll dig around a bit and see if I can find the model information again.
Hate to be a dink here, but no, side windows do come with factory tint. White and Red cars come with a factory bronze, as I recall, and I think the other colors got a standard grey.

I don't think it's removable.
The test is done on a head that's cold, so operating temps don't factor in. As a matter of fact, it's usually done with the head on a bench.
Basically, it's a small tube with a ball in it. Put the tube against the metal to be tested, drop the ball, measure how high it bounces.
Any decent...
You left out the intake, exhaust, and fuel pressure regulator. That's going to go over your $500 misc. fund.
And everyone damn well knows that there's no possibility of pulling this off without running into unexpected expenses - probably to the tune of another 50-100% on top of what you've...
