screw nitrogen. i think im gonna fill mine up with nitrous.
i remember seeing on hot rod tv (or one of those thinly veiled infomercials) a big thing about nitrogen. they made a big fuss over it and you can even now purchase a home nitrogen system for filling tires.
they make 4 different 12" fans. you'll have to search around to find the ones i listed. it is on their website, but you have to put in the part number in the search box to find them.
i dont think it would be required to run full time if used as a puller. you would for sure in pusher. and...
pusher fans are highly ineffecient, not just slightly. i wouldnt recommend pusher fans as the only means of cooling the car.
i understand you want a cleaner look, but in the case function over form.
spal fans are nice, but yes they draw a ton of current.
you may also consider the zirgo...
does it eject it immediately? or does it try to read then eject it?
i couldnt tell you how many jvc's ive fixed w/ that problem.
if it ejects immediatly its most like a mode switch in the cd mech. cheap and easy.
if it tries to play, but just ejects it, mostly likely the pick-up or...
the biggest 16" that i know of is the new mt drag radial. they are 315/45/16
i run 255's in the back and thats a limited selection. but atleast most of those are decent "performance" tires.
245/50 you can find all day long in multiple tires.
went to the dyno yesterday in lawrenceburg. he is willing to host a dyno meet and said he would even cook out.
just thought id let you guys know. still trying to get some details for the track
ive seen coils test bad but not be bad.
why change the fuel filter and pump? unless you know this to be a problem you are just throwing parts at it.
jumper +B and Fp in the diag box. see if it makes starting any easier.
it may be something as easy as the cold start injector/circuit or...
dave-
with the 66mm turbo, you would probably want medium length runners. that turbo doesnt just scream low end torque, and short runners would make it even moreso. as far as volume, id shoot for 5L.
what is interesting tho, the large volume/short runner feels more responsive. i noticed...
ive only ever seen 2 supras lift the front wheels, and one of them had a 20b rotory swap. none was a tube front end with gobs of power. i wouldnt be surprised if you were looking at fresh air when you launch.
btw, what are your plans for the front suspension?
engine bay itself or engine and components? my engine bay needs to be painted. i have some rub marks from the old ss line and its a little stained on the firewall from an exhaust manifold that warped. but here is the rest of it
stock on the na were:
front- 225/50/16
rear- 245/50/16
there arent a lot of choices for wide tires on 16's since most are 16x7
i like bfg g-force sports. they also make 255/50/16 which is what i run. but some dont like that tall of a sidewall.
