nice lines mate! seems like you were hardly on WOT at all although its obviously a tight little track. Where abouts is that race track in relation to Chicago?
it would be cool if you could somehow hook up a dial switch to the electric set up to alter the PS influence for different situations (or is this what your buddy has done?). My pump and rack are rebuilt but the steering is so damn light at times. Ive thought about removing the pump and looping...
That's interesting, where did you get the nylon spacers from? Custom made?
I have some alloy ones here that wes machined up for me but im not sure I want to use them. I dont think the supra really suffers from a lack of roll centre correction in the same way that say Nissan S13s and R32s do...
I would have thought the street use would increase the wear with all of the drains and potholes you encounter as opposed to a smooth race track. What is the comfort like on the street? Also you didnt answer my subframe question :p. Im interested to know what solid subframes feel like on the...
How many miles did you get out of those heims LD? I gather this doesnt get driven on the street? I have all of the wes arms ready to go in (as you know) but im reluctant to use the car on the street at all due to what I see above. Also have you solid mounted your front and rear subframes or are...
Rodel, just had a question about the width of your rear wing as I remember you saying voltes were custom making the blade for you. Just wondering how wide you went with it?
last time I heard (a couple of years ago) Rob was building a new house and the supra was up on jack stands. Havent see the guy in AGES. hope all is well Rob, sing out if you're around!
you may, but also remember you'll have less camber too due to the higher ride height. im not running great deal of camber presently though, I think only 1.25 degrees. that will change when I fit the wesbeech arms though!
Good to hear man, I'm not in Chi but maybe in 2 years I'll be there perm.! Ahh how much are the napa rotors? I wonder if they ship internationally? Also what pads are you using in there and lines also? I actually have an evo 5 as well as my supra so was going to use the brake lines off that as a...
^^^ I would like to know what the pedal feel is like. I already have the wilwood 13inch kit for the front and fear that adding a bigger caliper at the rear again with the stock master cylinder will affect pedal feel.
Also, where are people buying the STi rotors from? ive looked online but...
ugh, makes the car look really 1980s. Some might say that's appropriate given that the A70 was released in 1986, however I love the shape because it's timeless.
2300 is hard to believe, thats just over 1,000 kgs. I guess not impossible but insane! LD, i agree, 1382kg is still heavy for time attack but I think you could get that to sub 1300kg fairly comfortably without cutting and shutting things. The lexan windows would go a long way to achieving that...
thats pretty impressive on the weight but as you said, could easily be lower with some panels. Do you still run the bumper support bars and stuff? Some FRP front fenders and bonnet would help shed a few too.
lol, figured you understood the Q, and also figured id have no way of telling due to my very limited understanding of poly bushes.
Ronnie, do the subframe bushes require any lubricant, and is it extra to make them in the black density?
