this happened to my friend, so we used some fuel injection hose from autzone, stuff was 3.99 / FT... not cheap. and used 2 clamps on each size, no leaks what so ever... and his fuel pressure has gone as high at 65ish psi...
we only had like a 3'' gap though, so it wasnt like i used this stuff...
USDM ECU - needs the egr on the car as its SETUP AND DESIGNED for it... without it you run the risk of detonating under certain conditions. its not about 'smog' or anything like that, its about the engine.
on the sway bar? mine dont move at all. lol
check to make sure the endlinks have nuts on them and are tight. i had to use a set of narrow nose vide grips to hold it while i tightened the nuts.
heres a little list of what i was going to use for a 'street' rebuild...
titan = titanmotorsports.com
dino = partsdinosaur.com
auto = autozone.com
main bearing, rod bearing, thrust washer, arp head studs, titan 1.2mm MHG (metal head gasket. all from titanmotorsports.
gasket kit, ring...
he could pick up a W58 a lot easier and cheaper than the R154 though...
and the new = tight thing would only make sense if its brand new and your breaking it in still. your problem may be that you need some new shifter bushings and a nice grease on them to provide a nice smooth surface.
those are theoretical ESTIMATES. Every car is different, and depending on what mods you already have, will depend on the power your pushing. use that thread with somewhat of a caution, and just realize if you slap on a DDP then your not automatically going to get +20hp!
i had a friend who did that to his 98 eclipse gs... it was beyond annoying... it was really dumb, cause you would hear the whistle of the intake, but the no bov... hahaha
that 'whistle' could just be the turbo sucking air in... but i would check it for shaft play as its probably hitting the compressor housing on the inside.
is it more of a 'super-charger' whine... or is it like a constant 'whooooooooooo' sound?
that chirp should be your bov...
so i was looking at the titan ultimate race pistons... and tell me why the probes have the SAME stuff in them.
http://titanmotorsports.com/timoulrapi.html
the 'accumulator' groove is on the probes... im really starting to see the technology and the 'features' in the probes... i know they...
i would try and make the pipe follow like stock, just because it sets you up for a better angle into the fender.
nice bodykit... bumper is rather 'cat-fish' looking... but it'll feed a nice FMIC allll day.
my car? yup, im still gonna sell it... im thinking 4500... which all it needs is...
did you ever get a valve job and replace the valve stem seals or even bother to check the head to check and make sure its up to spec?
nice build... just sucks thats its been re-re-rebuilt.... i would be yanking my hair out...
and did you get the blocked bored to the right spec for those...
