Well I actually ordered one from champion toyota and they sent me the toyota emblem. It was listed as 86-90 on the description but received the wrong one. Does anyone have the part number to the supra emblem. Since there is only one listed there having trouble finding it.
Will a fender off of a 90 fit my 88? There ordering it from champion.
I'm having my car painted and the shop that's painting it dropped a ford explorer seat on my fender. Yeah what are the odds.
I don't believe that it was, but the guy I got it from said that he had the head looked at and was told that it was ok. But it is hard telling what to believe.
I'm getting ready to take my 88 turbo to the dyno and wanted to find out what type of power that a oem head gasket can hold? It has ARP head studs and is torqued down to 85 ft. lbs. When I got the car it was already done.
My current set up is a 60-1 ct, spearco replica ic, rc 550's, walbro...
I don't believe that I've seen it but wouldn't mind seeing it. This is a pic before paint

88mk3 my bad looks like you were replying to failure.
Wow didn't realize there were so many supra guys in the local area. Well I've been a member for about 6-7 months now and never really got a chance to introduce myself. My name is Mike live in troy,Ohio 20 min. north of Dayton. I have a 88 7mgte that I've been working on now for about 6 months...
I asked how do the two motors compare to each other.Don't really see how thats a dumb question considering in my first post I said i've only had my 88 for 7-8 months (limited knowledge) and don't know to much about the 300zx motor. seems like a reasonable question to me.
No not driving it in the snow. I haven't got it back yet. But when I do it will go into the garage. Its not my every day driver. It stays in the garage all year. I will post some pics as soon as it gets back from paint.
That's true about the engine bay. Hell of tight sqeeze in there. I like the way the Z looks but my supra has really started to grow on me. Hard to even think about letting it go. Plus I just bought a body kit from shine and the car is getting painted as we speak.Should have it back on Thursday...
Well I've owned my 88 supra for about 7-8 months now and the only person that I know that has been able to help with the car happens to be a friend of mine that is Z guy. He is constantly busting my balls about owning a supra. Saying that it is a better car motor etc.. He has completely rebuilt...
Well I realize that fiber glass isn't going to cause that kind of vibration. Plus its mounted pretty good so I knows its not moving. What I was saying at first was that I thought that the mud flap that you take off on the front to install the sides could be allowing air to get in that way and...
That sounds like a much stronger vibration then mine. However the vibration seems to vibrate the entire car, door, back window, through the floor, steering wheel a little. I will have to take a look when I pick my car up. When I first heard this noise it was when I was on my way to drop it off...
