Wanted to know if the outside holes on the hatch are in the same spot on the pre 89 as the 89+ to line up with the whale tail bolts on the bottom.
Anyone with a Shine whale tail or Bomex on their pre 89

I was curious as well since I really didnt want to drill new holes on my hatch. Main reason I dont want an 89+ 3 piece wing.
The holes are not the same. I own two 87's and bought the shineauto whaletail in the group buy, but I would've had to drill holes in the hatch in order for it to fit. The whaletail has the same holes as the 89+ piece wing.
So it sounds like that you have to drill new holes to make it work. Anyone filled them in and drilled new ones to make it work?
