Ouch... I had the stock 7M 10 blade fan do that to my PWR, but the clutch just slipped instead of tearing everything up that badly. Looks like there's still a clutch on that setup - does it lock up really hard? Wonder if there is some way to reduce the lock to something that will give instead...

Yes, they work great, I've done quite a few. The thing that most kits neglect to mention is that the OEM plastic bits are usually sprayed with a clear coat to slow down sun damage - these kits will peel that off, and it will look great for a month or two, then it will cloud *fast*. So ideally...

I was concerned with the durability as well, so I didn't paint anything that would be subject to wear. I'd probably try it though, now that I've used it - the paint is kind of rubbery after it dries - flexible, so it's quite durable.

I've used the SEM stuff as well, and it works great. As I recall, Brad / Tekdeus used it on a significant portion of his interior as well. I didn't prime mine, just used their cleaner, then sprayed the paint right on top.

Why not just buy one of the units already available that's proven to work? Kaaz and Cusco both make one and have proven results. Hell, TRD still has theirs available last I checked, for that matter.

Good call on replacing them both. Usually they are both in pretty bad shape, but only one will actually pop. Of course, a couple weeks after you replace that one, the other one goes, and you have to go through the whole bleeding procedure again.
