registered my car yesterday:).i bled the brake's with a left side caliper on the right side front.long story short, autozone kept giving me the 90 n/a 28mm 300zx caliper and it doesn't fit over the 350z rotor.i ended up getting one from advanced auto, but that was a left side in a right side...
my plan was to mount the battery(full size) in the hatch, but couldn't find a good spot.the targa wouldn't fit well with the battery box back there.i had allready routed the ic pipe there trying to make room for a nice radiator.i ordered the battery not even knowing if it would fit,so i'm kinda...
i pulled my battery tray and installed an odyssey pc925mjt,then ran my ic pipe up over it.that might just be considered ginny rigged or just ghetto fabulous:naughty:
check if there is a little round cylinder shaped solinoid near where the hose's connect.there will be a two wire plug comming of it.here's the best pic i have for ya.
i got my new rear wheel bearing's and mkIV hub's pressed into the mkIII hub's the other day.i installed some new cv boot's on the axle's too.i ended up putting the rear suspension back together, just need to try to get the wheel's going straight.
i also picked up some rebuilt caliper's from...
boy thats ugly,i've never seen that posted before.everybody should take the piping appart to see the condition of there twin's before the swap.hopefully noticing stuff like that, but who know's.mine were actually pretty hard and crusty.
the 4.30 should be nice,if you have a tall tire out back.i put 275/40's out back and my car lost some bottom end with the auto.i could drop it in 1st gear on the highway doing 70mph and still pull.150mph and the thing still wasn't near redline.i'm sure the 5spd guy's will have different experiance's
