I have a couple large magnets(for signage/advertising)that normally stick to a car door,they are black,and cover over the holes by about an inch.Figure IF it gets caught in,or even sees rain this would help. As far as moisture,the engine compartment should be,for the most part,waterproof.

Pre-89 w/turbo-a duct molded in.

A small block chevy puller works fine.There are 4 threaded holes in the inset of the 7M balancer,use two of them.IIRC you can use 2 of the bolts from the AC compressor bracket for the puller.

Can anybody please post pics of the MK3 undercarriage,front & rear looking straight up (car on lift.) I believe the haynes manuals had shots like these,if someone could scan and post them it would be greatly appreciated.

Personally not a fan of black wheels on a white car.Maybe paint them white,but not sure if that would look good with those particular wheels either.

Our bumpers aren't really flexible enough to need flex additive added if you use urethane.If you do use it in every thing(even the primer)It only takes a tiny bit too,and it doesn't haze your clear. HOK is great paint.Kinda pricey,but their specialty stuff is top notch...
