Like many other Toyota's,at least here in the Midwest.they have succumbed to rust/rotting out over the years due to winter/road salt.Same goes for a lot of cars that age.
I put a link to the article above.
I just enjoyed rubbing it in,all my car friends up here are domestic lovers, and after years of listening to bullshit about powerless rice burners it was great to see a camaro w/a supra motor in it.
It would probably ride fine with 16's,my Cressida rides great w/18's,quite a bit crisper handling wise, but not a big difference ride wise compared to the 14"mk2 rims.
Hell, paint and some wheels, and I'd sport that 'rolla.
Depends on the car, seems to be a bigger problem up north due to rust, winter, road salt etc.
My cressidas were like that, one was a nightmare, the other one came apart w/o a single problem(weird part is the easy one had twice as many miles as the one that came apart hard.)
Wouldn't consider it as he handed it to you, especially from a dig against an all-wheel drive car.Sounds like you gave him a good run, sucks you smoked your clutch doin' it.
It's only intended to be driven in fair weather, but have magnetic panels(like those used for advertising)That cover over the vented area for washing/rain.
I think it's a different one.The one in the mag is hugger orange(that one looks red,but my monitor sucks,so I could be wrong)just caught me off guard to see a supra in the corner on the cover of Hot-Rod.Nice to see some respect for the power a lil' ol' rice motor can produce.
So I'm at a buddies house earlier, and noticed on the cover of the April '09 Hot Rod magazine that there was a MK4 Supra back behind the cover car,a 1st gen Camaro.Check out the article, and sure enough,Toyota power in an iconic Detroit musclecar.IMO that's awesome.
I'm looking for a pass tail light, and the chrome trim from the front edge of the hood for a '84 Cressida(MX63).
If any body is out junk yard hoppin',and comes across these, please let me know how much you could get them for.(shipped to 46514,or within 150 miles of South Bend,IN)
