Just wondering what the various owners on here used to clean and protect their vinyl dashes. Mine's in pretty good shape physically, with only one cut in it which looks like was the result of sloppy work replacing the windshield once upon a time. It's a fairly small cut and should be relatively easy to repair if I can find a quality repair kit.
The bigger problem is that the car sat up for about 3 years before I got it and the dash has some mildew and lots of grime on it, looks like it didn't get cleaned often even before it got parked. I don't want to use anything too harsh on it, but need some idea's on what would work well without damaging the vinyl or it's finish and still get it clean. I was looking at Megs Heavy Duty Vinyl Cleaner. Think it'll be enough to cut into the mildew and stuff?
