You should definitely come. Bring the car, give drifting a shot. It's fun. Or just come out and hang out, it would be nice to see more Supras there. Unfortunately, I won't have the supra with me, but that's what happens when you switch motor plans a couple weeks before the season starts...

Good posts Drew and Rydefly.
It could probably be done with aftermarket upper mounts if you made your own mounts for the actuator. But I don't really think there is a need. As Rydefly said, stock upper mounts are decent especially for the spring rates that you would be running with...
Alignment is going to depend on ride height and suspension setup.
It would not be best to zero out your camber, are you sure they didn't mean toe? More caster can be good for steering feel as it will increase the moment arm of the torque acting around the steering axis. But too much...
IF you wanted to go very low the off the shelf bilsteins wouldn't be your best choice. Due to the length of the damper body, you can't go that low with out running out of shock travel. If you still want a good handling suspension, my TIP Motorsports setup uses Bilstein take apart dampers which...
Damnit, I typed a response and hit back by accident.
So to reiterate what I said that no one had a chance to read.
Eibach springs, unless you're talking about their race springs, would not be good for a track suspension. And since you said progressive, I'm assuming you're talking...
You guys are impatient. Just because they got the bushings designed/prototyped does not mean that they did a production run and have updated everything and are complaining that people didn't buy them yet.
I'm not saying there's not ways to do it safe and smart. I would just rather not deal with that. And especially with the high number of events going out out here and their frequency and the other cars I will be building/working on. I don't see the time or the need to do stuff like that.
Thanks guys. Dave is awesome. I can't wait for the next session. I just have to decide what I'm going to get next time.
AF, his shop is up in NH, but he brought his FC to me for a cage this weekend and brought the tattoo stuff, so we set up a clean room at my friends and he worked out of...
Thanks. Here are a couple more than he did this weekend.
Another shot of mine.
Susan's compass rose. This is the start of a sweet sleeve with old map stuff and sea monsters.
PA pride.
NJ pride.
And Hammer time. This picture doesn't do this one justice. You can't...
My most recent. Got this yesterday.
Got this one back in October.
Both were done by the same guy. If any of you are familiar with any Drift Alliance stuff, he has designed a couple of the shirts/sweatshirts, tattooed everyone in DA and was Tony and Hampshaa's Head mechanic last...
I am definitely planning on making some hill climbs and possibly that thing in Vermont. But I doubt the car will see much non-event mountain road driving. It's not worth the risk to me, especially with the large amount of events out here this season.
If you go to Safelite.com you can get a quote for replacing your windshield. I just got a quote on there for 237.95 for windshield replacement including labor, but not including tax. To just pull and replace a windshield, they usually charge me around $100, but that's using the same glass they...
Guyana, I do agree with you. And taking out windshields with the right tools would not be that hard it would just take some time and patience. But also the amount of time to do it may be worth more than the price you would pay to have someone else do it. I know for myself, it's not worth it...
Another important part of this is properly mounting the battery. I've seen and heard about batteries breaking their mounts and this can happen when driving and be even worse in the event of a crash. So besides making sure that the battery and where its mounted meets the rules for whatever...
