its really not necessary! they arent in there that tight....i used a small press at work after i poured oil over the pins....worked great and didnt mark up the piston.
I believe thermal coatings ate over kill for your power goals...300hp isn't really gonna cause too much heat! Now if you where doing a budget 500hp build then yeah I'd have them coated...the stock Toyota pistons gave you over 100,000 miles and they aren't coated! If the machinist is good and...
His catch can isn't gonna work anyway as he has one cover plumbed into the "in" port on the can and the other cover in the "out" port...I don't see a vacume source either.
When you say resurfaced do you mean you took it to a machine shop? Was the head inspected for cracks? Was the rear timing cover decked with the engine block? What do you mean by "put the heat on it"?
Your post is hard to understand.
Some place near water would be cool! Someplace easy to get to and not so busy....or maybe even some place on rt1 so we can go for an easy cruise....be even better to do it on a sat instead of Sunday so that way we may be able to carry on into the night and have some fun on the blvd....maybe...
Guess what I'm saying is...it will reach and will always reach if cut properly...the real question is if the clutch slave will have enough travel.... .020" is about 8 pieces of paper stacked and that's fucking thin....you'll be fine but only if the shop knows what they are doing.
Sounds like the machine shop has no clue (unless 2j fw's are different then all other toyota's)...
You remove the dowel pins and grind the clutch disk friction surface....you then move the fixture over and grind the surface that the pp mates too....that is if it's a stepped flywheel...if it's...
first of all....dont expect a fast response at such early morning hours...only reason i even saw this thread is cause i cant sleep for some reason.
if its the same as the fuel rail feed then it would be 14mm x1.5
