Brandon....I have 3 turbo heads but it seems as though one is missing the cam caps....I'm going to hold on to the other two as one only has 75,000 miles on it....if both heads check out to be fine for machining then Im sure I could let one go!

Been tearing into the motor all weekend....it's a pain pulling the head off while it's still in the car! First thing first is a headgasket and some machine work to the head....then basic bpu type things. I want the car to run correctly before I start spending bigger money so I'm gonna hold...

The int is burgandy and in decent shape...steering wheel is a tad ruff but not near as bad as I've seen....the pain has these spider cracks running threw it in some spots...only code it's throwing is a code 51 so nothing major I guess....either way the head is coming off asap.

Everyone I know personally who has the hks ssqv all get that flutter under lower boost....when they really get on it, it let's out a nice solid sounding purge...I don't think you're hearing surge, I think it's just the valve fluttering in the bov.

They were not home made...I forget the company name but they were modified stock gears...they are no longer produced why do I have the sick feeling that you are going to try and make adjustable cam gears? Probably out of wood too..so damn cheap it's sickening!

You supra is an "NA" but it's also a FI fuel system...it's fuel injected.... Like IJ said..fi can stand for "forced induction" but its usually not used in that context. Some terms that may help you understand the topics here: boost=air pressure from turbo charger juice,spray=nitrous...

For stock cams then cam gears are pointless....for aftermarket cams then yes get them!

It would cost a fortune to mill,drill,and tap the pocket out for squirters....they aren't a big deal and you'll be just fine without them.
