i was going to put a spare one in my work van.i'm under car and truck hood's all day, maybe match it up with something.i'd like to have a direct bolt up with little to no modifing
i just make a day of it and bounce from one to the other.i never call on the phone.when they ask what i'm looking for,i say the list is to long.then they most of the time tell me to go for a look.i snagged a good condition r154 5spd for $85 one time.another time i had a pile of part's stacked in...
the boost control harness plug's into the power fc itself and has a plug on it for the that sensor.it has another plug for the boost solinoid also,so i was assuming it was to read boost pressure only.
i have the boost control kit ,but i was under the impression this was to read boost.jonny can you give me any more info on it,because i must have it hooked up wrong.the apexi boost control harness has a spot for the sensor, but what about the stock plug for the map?
i apprecate the help man
it would be nice if duane's car make's it down there.i can appreciate all the attention to detail under the hood and the exterior.i haven't seen pic's of anybody else's car, that has went through such a make over.even if he doesn't show, other's will carry the torch for us mkIII owner's.:)
good luck with it.just go slow with it and don't put yourself in dept.it's very easy to get out of hand spending money on these car's.i had no intention's of going as far as i did with mine and now i couldn't sell it for half of what i got into it.i'm allready up to a grand to put the turbo on...
my car's up on block's sleeping,i've been working on the 91.it had a 60-1 ct upgrade turbo that was bad when i bought it.i bolted up a 57 trim ct from driftmotion along with a couple other little thing's.
i don't know jesse,i have more faith in our diff's then these guy's.i can also swap one...
i have a greddy ebc and turbo timer in my glovebox of my 91.i have the remote on the steering wheel for the ebc,but it's still a pain haveing the turbo timer in there.i'm going to be moving the turbo timer to the nut-warmer spot:)
i'm just stating the fact that a stock supra with an auto doesn't put any power to the wheel's.i've had a 7mgte auto and a 1jzgte apu auto, neither felt like they put down any power.i don't think he ever said his diff was blown;).i don't think anybody in are area is capable of rebuilding anything...
i think his car has 130,xxx on the clock with toyota's weak ass auto putting power into it.diff's probably one of the last thing's he need's to worry about now,IMO.
i stuffed that same b&m cooler behind the bumper support under the driver headlight.my oil filter is on the driver's side though, not sure if it would fit on the passenger side.
