It's not designed or intended to be used as such a brake to be perfectly honest! Back in the olden days such as IJ's day, ebrakes actually powered the rear brakes with a cable....our cars just have a stupid leathery pad that is just mean to hold the car...our parking brakes usually won't lock...
Yeah true but what makes me wonder is obviously shit don't fix itself and he notices a "kick" now....when the system doesn't work then you will indeed feel a significant powerband effect...he didn't notice this before.
Suppose it's different on everyones car but I'm just regurging info that...
If I'm not mistaken that infact means it's not working correctly...the activation is supposed to be gradual...the kick in the pants should be felt at 3400 rpm ruffly when the system isn't operating as it should. My car has never had it working so I get the kick also.
If I'm wrong I...
Dear op
turbo cars must have crank case evac! Plumb the system back up like stock or do a proper catch can system...either way it needs to be run to the throttle and infront of the turbo! The pcv keeps vac on the motor which keeps oil "in the motor!"....putting those filters on the valve...
Ok guys seriously!!! This thread is turning into a stupid guessing game! If you have no clue then don't post...don't just pull something from your ass and say "check that" as that's just going to lead the guy on a wild goose chase!
First of all, brake booster has ZERO relation to the brake...
The rear timing cover has oil flowing down the back of it....it needs to seal against the headgasket and block.
To the op:
good luck getting it to seal without taking the head off...I say give it a shot but if you're still using a stock gasket then odds are it's not coming off easily!
Remeber this...just cause you're a member here doesn't mean we have to help you! We help those who truly appreciate our help and learn from it...you don't appreciate the rest of those people helping you so "I" will not help you either!
Uuum no...everyone took time from their day to "try" and answer your question....your question as written in the forum was answered 10fold! Then you say thanks to Arron from driftmotion and forget that everyone else gave you great advice.....you should have said "thanks everyone for the help...
