I think it all depends on the bezel...my new bezel I didn't have to trim but the old one I did...my "shitty" kenwood wouldn't open with the old bezel untill I trimmed the top lip off.

"warped" is the common term.. Yes if you come to a complete stop while still on the brakes they will warp...BUT if you let off the brakes and let the car continue to move at a slow speed then your disks will be fine! Never ever come to a stop with hot brakes as they will always warp on you!

From the bottom is how I do it...little elbow grease and can do attitude! Can also get a friend...6" socket extension plus 4" extension...you get under the car and hold the socket on the nut while your friend reaches blindly from the top to turn the ratchet...
