SoCal 22RE Rebuild Shop?

I would like some input on socal shops that can rebuild a 22RE

i vote do it yourself. i just did my headgasket, and timing assembly in my driveway in the cold. i'd have liked to rebuild it, but i plan on swapping a 7m in there anyway.

otherwise, i can't help you, sorry.

22r is hella easy motor to do. If you don't have the time then find a shop. To be honest, that motor is easier then a honda motor.

Thanks for the suggestions folks, no time, its for my son, and no where to do it. Now on the Kaizen, Kaizen what? I do a seach and all the manufacturing strategy crapola like lean manufacturing comes up.

Not sure if they specialize in in the 22r but I'm sure they they could help you get the machine work done that you need and they could probably get everything together without a hitch.

Find a good shop and get a rebuild kit from www.engnbldr.com

If you search toyota 4x4 forums he's well known, might be a good idea to pick up a ported head w/bigger valves too
