    OK For main bearing caps its 75ft lbs in TSRM, is this ok? Rod caps are 47Ft Lbs, is THAT ok? Sorry guys I knwo this is alot of posts from me about this stuff but not much attention is on my build thread.

    You need GTE Coil packs too dont you? And alot more, that has to do with the electrical side of this, Id love to do the same, my team member has some turbo parts and is begging to slap it on mine, but not now...

    Yeah, the SAME exact pistons returned to the same cyls. I made double sure of that. They got new rods, but the rings never came off. Everything seems ok, so far, gonna drop it tomorrow I HOPE if I get off work early enough, otherwise friday is the day, I think.

    Thanks I figured it out. What Im trying to solve now, is find a picture of the tranny attached to the block while its outside the car, theres these 2 BIG thick metal brackets I cant remeber how they assemble. Along with the rest. Also on the GE there was a coolant hose near the back, I think...

    Ok I got a vac line, no CLUE where it goes!?! I know where it plugs but its weird, ok, lemme explain, its a hard line with 2 hoses on the end of either side and the TSRM shows it going across the front to either side of the engine... The thing in red.

    Time will tell, Im about to strap the wire harness to the block, reassemble the rest, drop, attach everything, hold my balls, prime the pump, pray to god. My past 4 - 5 months of work over weekends is riding on this, please, even if youre skepticle of HOW im doing this, please pray for me.

    K, last qustion, when I turn the crank, I can kinda hear pressurized air from the bottom end around the pistons, the head is on and torqued, no oil or anythin in yet, is this jsut because some valves are open and closed or what?

    Rings no, same ones, I poured oil into each one, hand cranked it over a buncha times and let it sit overnight, nothing leaked anywhere, I did place the rings in the areas shown across each side however. I didnt hone the cylinders either, had a mechanic tell me they were ok. Im pretty much sumped...

    Used crank and rods from a running GTE, after I installed it all I checked the plastigauge on every bearing, it was dead on perfect clearance per tsrm. Checked the flatness, flat. Again, this motor wasnt even anywhere NEAR a HG problem, that was all perfect, and it didnt burn oil. I cleaned...

    GE block, GTE crank, and rods. GE Pistons, all swapped over. Some gaskets, are fel pro, the rest including the HG, are Toyota OEM New OEM oil pump from dealer No upgrades except the ARP Studs, new pump and all the shit thats new.
