    What is this block bushing!?

http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=EM&P=85 bottom of this page...and very top of next page talks about it....it's near the jtube area.

    What is this block bushing!?

Looks like the oil pump bearing....very top of the pump slides into it....take a pic of the inside of the block (oil pump side).

    Notice: Easy to follow rules!

This is why I keep a collection of coins in my car....some tailgateing or in the left lane going slow gets a handfull

    driveshaft lengths

If the front clip comes with the trans then no...bell housings are interchangeable between the 7m and 1j trans...so if you prefer too run your r154 that's currently in your supra then just swap bell housings and you're good!

    w58 setup questions

Considering the 240 is lighter the w58 should be fine for 500hp...even r154 isn't the bulletproof trans that people make it out to be! I'd think your fine considering there are plenty 400hp mkiii's that weight a ton running them.

    driveshaft lengths

Exactly! The 1j and the 7mgte trans are the same and bolt up too the chassis the same...only real diff is the 1j bellhousing...any plain old 7mgte driveshaft will work.

    driveshaft lengths

They have the length...they are confused as you probably told them you are doing a 1j swap.....just tell them you need a mkiii turbo supra driveshaft! They have been making them for a few years now.

T61 Bolt on Turbo by Cx Racing

Of the turbo works then that minor issue ain't a problem! Nothing a block of aluminum, drill press, and tap can't fix!
  11. gaboonviper85

    driveshaft lengths

Aslong as you ordered the turbo driveshaft then you're set! Length doesn't change with the 1j-r154.

    Which flywheel??

The ge and gte flywheels are indeed different! I don't exactly know the visual diff but I know the bolt pattern for the pressure plate are different.

permatex red strong enough for flywheel bolts?

No problem but I'd recomend Toyota for the bolts...they will be more expensive but not expensive too say the least!

    solid rear??

Worth is relitive...big power or not it will improve drag times and reduce weight! Too the op...unless you've been building tube frames for awhile then I wouldn't think about tackling this!! You have really got too know how to weld and how too pinpoint stress zones! Last thing you want is...

permatex red strong enough for flywheel bolts?

Hardware store is fine but I'd replace every single one if that was the case....that way they are all the same and all the same weight....make sure to get grade8 bolts though!

    Keep or throw TEMS?

Any shock the goes too a supra is a "shock" not a strut....our cars don't have "struts"! If you can afford...get the upper shock mounts also as yours will be old and shitty... I'd personally recomend bilstien shocks as they are awesome!

    neccissary emissions components

Well then you can get rid of the egr...but you'll need to keep the charcoal canister as it has two jobs...you can relocate it and use a smaller canister from a jdm car. But really there isn't much emissions "equipment" that takes up space! What you see is what you get.
