I haven't seen a properly built 7M take a built GT-R so I'm pessomistic until I can see both go at it.
With that being said,
I tend to stay off SF unless I'm shopping for parts or I want a good laugh.
There's far too much misinformation and just general bullshit going around over there...
I hate to say it, and I don't want to start a pissing match BUT...
I'm afraid that the stock GT-R is a faster and better car than the stock MK3.
AWD, .1 more displacement, HICAS, Independant Throttle Bodies, and overall better construction.
I've pitted my JZA70 (Stock) against my GT-R...
They're not as bad as you think. You've got to own one to appreciate it.
I've owned a '92 GTS-T (RB20), a '91 GT-R (RB26) and my current one is a '90 GT-R.
The only problem I've ever had between the three was my first GT-R had electrical gremlins, the gauges would lose all power sometimes...
I'm jealous, I'd like to get a TT-R next. I've always loved the look of the all black with the black Recaro's and 5 spoke rims.
If you could get me that pic that would be pretty awesome. I'd like to see it when it first landed as I never took any from when I first got her.
Hmm, so begins the arguement of platinum vs. iridium vs. coppers lol
I've got a 1JZ in my car so I don't have plug wires, the 1J's have individual coil packs.
My 1JZ originally came with HKS F35i plugs in her and I'm looking to replace them with the same ones.
HKS USA only carries the HKS S35i plugs, do you know if they are the same plugs just now called *S* series??
I'm just playing,
check to make sure all your intercooler piping is tightly connected (had an issue like this when I first got my car, have since replaced all IC pipes with nice SS T-Clamps)
open your hood, rev the car high enough so that it will (start) to make boost, if you hear any...
You need what I have, the ultimate JDM rim of the 90's
Yokohama Advan SA3R V1.'s (black with red lip)

255-50-R17 in the rear
235-50-R17 in the front
Makes me a happy panda :icon_bigg
Sounds like a healthy running 7M, good catch matey!
Just curious, what plugs are you running? I've got my 1JZ disassembled for the winter and have to do plugs come spring (the HKS ones that are in there look like they're been in there since new lmao!) I'm stuck between the NGK's or just...
1991 1JZ-GTE JDM Supra:
Me babying it = 500 - 680 Km's per tank
Me going ape shit = 450 - 600 Km's per tank
I should also add, this is on a completely stock car.
Where in Ontario you don't have to do any of that. I heard somewhere that the US import laws were alot more strict than ours so I'm not too sure if a '97 would be qualify to ship over, and yea, we don't even have the R34 yet (trust me, I'm playing a massive waiting game on that baby :P)
The...
You would have to look into the import regulations for your country and state. I know it varies widely from state to state, and because there are so many states, it gets tricky. However, aside from that, it is possible. I myself am not sure what the import laws for the US are because I've never...
