    Mild suspension upgrade advice request

I personally love my suspension setup with a passion. It handles like a car on rails and isn't too stiff over bumps and dips in the road. Here's what I'm running at the moment: HSD fully adjustable gas-shock coilovers ($1400...) but with full tunability. (currently dropped 1.75 inches from...

So I just pulled the plugs on my JZA70 and...

So from what I've read here and on other posts, is it safe to say HKS > NGK?

So I just pulled the plugs on my JZA70 and...

From what it was only a tiny square fragment no larger than a few millimeters if that.

So I just pulled the plugs on my JZA70 and...

From what I've been told, they're rebadged and sold as NGK up here (they look identical so I wouldn't doubt it) even though I may pick up a set of these now. What about the issue with the little snippet of plastic that fell in the cylinder?

So I just pulled the plugs on my JZA70 and...

I found out they haven't been replaced since 2001 (according to my last known service record of the car) LOL. The plug is what got my attention, apparently they are a very high end plug in Japan. The HKS F35i Super-Fire spark plug. I've never even heard of them over here but from what I hear...

Good Oil for Torsen LSD rear end

Note to self: Definately avoid GL-5 for Supra. Thanks for the input guys, I'm picking up fluids this weekend to start stocking up for the winter storage building season so.

Good Oil for Torsen LSD rear end

My car came with the Torsen from the factory so I'm hoping it was set up right lol. I'll do some research on the GL-4 (I've been told to avoid GL-5's like the plague, something about corrosion on certain synchro's?)

    What's Up From Canada!

Where do you guys have your meets, I normally attend the 403 and Dundas Timmy's meets on Wed nights in Mississauga. I've been told that 401 and Kennedy has a nice meet as well. Either way it'll have to wait until spring as both babies are sound asleep (occaisionally having revving wars in...

    What's Up From Canada!

The later pictures are of the car on the new coilovers. They were too low at that time and caused alot of rubbing because they were a bit tucked in (one of my fender liners can testify to that lol) but now I've got it set at a perfect ride height and stiffness.

    What's Up From Canada!

The Supra I bought here for $7000 from a good friend. The R32 I imported for a grand total of $6800 CAD from Japan. I don't mean to advertise but if anyone in the GTA is looking to have a car imported, me and a good friend of mine have been bringing Japanese imports in for the last couple of years.

Good Oil for Torsen LSD rear end

Hmm, I've been told the shock proof series are nice but I'll definately have to look into their normal gear oil. You say no additives though??

    What's Up From Canada!

The Skyline I've had for longer so I've done alot more work to it (Calsonic exhaust, Tein Coilovers, Cusco STB's, HKS turbo upgrade kit, bigger brakes) The Supra is still fairly new so I'm still in the works of deciding exactly what I'm going to do to it (she's bone stock right down to the...

    R154 tranny oil change

It makes a huge difference, you'll feel that the shifting is 10x smoother and it just feels better overall. Not as mechanical is the word I'm looking for.

    1JZ-GTE Ignition

What's the recommended gap for them? I have .28 but that's for the V-Powers

Good Oil for Torsen LSD rear end

I'm looking for a good oil for my rear diff (has the JDM Torsen LSD in it) I've heard the RL Shockproof line-up is nice, I'm mainly looking for an oil that will provide superior lubrication and also tone down the gear chatter.

    1JZ-GTE Ignition

All right, just making sure (better safe than sorry) I'll be picking up 6 of the iridium tipped plugs that you mentioned before and giving those a try in El Supro. Thanks again

    1JZ-GTE Ignition

That works for me, the only thing I was concerned about was things I read about people with higher HP 1JZ's. Saying that with iridium plugs, the cylinder wont go dead if pre-ignition or misfire occurrs and therefore causing more problems, as opposed to a ceramic coated plug that would melt and...
