oh, i made that shift. something wasnt holding. because when it hit the limiter, i went back into it, and i never touched the shifter during all of that. oh well, i thought it was good that i pulled him that hard at the beginning. if there were no mishaps, i probably would have kept him back.

it was me you're thinking of, i know i am retarding timing. i actually killed the rings and one piston on that engine. but that was at roughly 20psi... so, i'm at 10psi currently, and 5 degrees btdc. its safe and its able to hang with, if not beat ~350whp cars. so, when i get my tt gasket...

i agree, then if the 1uz was turbo, then we might have to put a scatter shield around it so that when it throws a rod it wont mess up the paint of the car next to it. :biglaugh:

me vs a 300zx tt. as the video says we're both at 1 bar. the 300zx owner is a good friend of mine, i helped him put his engine together. we're both on 91 octane, in daily driver mode. nothing special... the full mod list is in the video info. enjoy...

i have a problem similar to this... now i'm pretty sure of the fact that i'm running a 98 2jzge vvti bottom end, an older 2jzge non vvti head, 2jzgte headgasket, with full 7mgte electronics arent helping things very much. but yeah, i cant seem to get my timing down to something below 10degrees...

i mounted mine to the TB horizontally, but the 2jzge TB is long... it was the only place that the nozzle would stay at (because the aluminum is thicker)
