I haven't ever bought a supra with the factory tiedowns :P Both of mine had the battery just chilling on the plate, can you use some sort of strap maybe? Like those heavy duty ones that rock climbers use. Just a fast thought. eric

I was under the impression that a used block would be betetr than brand new, simply because it's been through the heat expansions and what not, letting the metal settle. I thought a fresh block was just that; fresh, and would solidify more with use, but that an old block is stronger. eric
