There really isnt a lot of pressure in the cooling system, not enough to pop a freeze plug anyway.
I reccomend using a socket of slightly smaller size to apply even pressure and tap it in very lightly.
TB wide open, efi fuse out? Wet dry or both? how fast did it climb enlighten us, dont just tell us you know what your doing, otherwise you wouldnt be asking. You're sure that you know everything about comp tests but here you are asking about comp vs leakdown.

Get yourself an decent intercooler, universal is fine. Get a DIY piping kit. Cut it up and mock it up to fit exactly how you want it. mark it so if you take it apart you know exactly how it goes together. Then take the pipes to a shop that tig welds and have them weld it all together for you.
