Yep.. Unbolt it from the block. Remove the dipstick and the support bar and it will free up a little room. When you transfer the lines to the new turbo be sure to torque it to like 9lbs, especially if you use a stock gasket.

If you rev it and let it idle down will it smoke? If so, unbolt the turbo from the manifold and pull it off enough to leave a gap between the turbo and manifold. Rev it and see if smoke comes out of the manifold. If you have oil in the pipes then check the PCV as mentioned above.
Depends if it is leaking from inside or out. By your pic I would think inside. If you are good at tearing things apart and fixing them you could repair your cps. If not, find another one that isn't leaking.
TPS could still need adjusting. I had a slight flat spot in mine. I would cruise out of the parking lot and if I was in first gear @ 2000 rpm's and (a certain voltage on the TPS) my car felt like I slammed on brakes. Luckily for me the maft pro shows what the tps voltage is and I was able to...
Could make a difference. How much boost are you running? Your best bet would be to set it up for 11.5, do a few pulls and see how it runs. Leaning it to 11.8 should still be ok.
