I just got mine in.

I'm guessing you got the Banjo bolt out (feed line?? ) already, it's beside the oil filter. Then there's two little basses, they're 12mm and I found it easy to disconnect it from the block. A 12" extension and a 3/8 drive seem to work well. If memory serves well.

It's a PITA either way you look at it. :biglaugh: Then there's wiggling it out and what not.

Yep.. Unbolt it from the block. Remove the dipstick and the support bar and it will free up a little room. When you transfer the lines to the new turbo be sure to torque it to like 9lbs, especially if you use a stock gasket.

Definitely detach it from the block - I wasted a huge amount of time taking off and re-installing the turbo with the drain still connected to the block. Very hard to torque to the turbo in the car. Not to mention the oil that I used to prime the turbo poured out on the gasket when I installed the new turbo.
