    I agree with Jay but let's clear up these questions.. 1) Supposedly many 1K HP builds have no oil squirters. I'm not sure of the reason for this. If you search around on Clubna-t.com then you'll find this information. IMHO the oil squirters will make a negligible difference with detonation...

The ECU is supposed to try and work out the idle so that it's in the 14.7 AFR ratio. I know it's weird that it's dipping into the 10 AFR range, but it could...

    Nick, usually this means there is a bad ground. The 7M ECU is only grounded in one location (under the intake manifold). Check your grounds

    What can I say, I have to buy at least one every time I pass that aisle at Costco! Might at well put em' to use. If I replaced it every time it creaked, I'd be gaining on your 7M shenanigans!
