1) Supposedly many 1K HP builds have no oil squirters. I'm not sure of the reason for this. If you search around on Clubna-t.com then you'll find this information.
IMHO the oil squirters will make a negligible difference with detonation...
First, where are you getting a 2JZ w/ 6spd for 1500? The transmission alone goes for double that.
Second. The decision is up to you as it is all about preference.
The facts are, the swaps are very similar, but wiring for the 2JZ can be more challenging than that for a 1JZ.

As far as the SAFC tuning goes. I would try not to change the airflow settings at idle. The ECU is supposed to try and work out the idle so that it's in the 14.7 AFR ratio. I know it's weird that it's dipping into the 10 AFR range, but it could...
