I'm sure you can get the same smile on your face cheaper, night after night. Free if you're married ;)
Seriously though, that pic is beautiful. I've just been introduced to the 1JZ world today. And I bought it! lol...can't wait ti dig in.
Always told myself not to bother checking it out...
BillyM vs. Marlin Crawler, what are your thoughts?
I've seen the inner socket, and the shifter seat, on MC's website.
The only thing I don't see on the site is the bronze bushing that comes in the BillyM kit.
I would say that the Marlin Crawler would be the better choice as it would...
I have a gasket kit question as well. It's related to this thread, not trying to hijack.
I'm looking at buying a used 7mgte and doing a stock rebuild, other than 20 over NPR piston/ring set.
For the kits I want to know what to use.
The choices I'm aware of, and choosing between are...
I'm looking at picking up a gte cheap and building it over the summer and wanted to do a stock rebuild. I was wondering where everyone else gets their parts other than ebay.
The reason I ask is because there are a bunch of options for aftermarket or high hp builds. I would like to just...
I really like how the gunmetal ones look, but in all honesty I think the black will look better on the white car. It is done a lot, because it looks good. My brother did it on his, car, polished lip. I'll try and find a pic, it isn't a supra but it's relevant.

Still...

Relax.
Breathe.
You need to cut to the chase and determine for sure that it is the pump. If it is, look on the bright side, it isn't too hard of a fix and you can get to your wedding tomorrow. If not then the bright side would be that your walbro is good and you don't have to buy another...
IJ I'd like to see your setup.
For everyone and anyone else out there. I'm thinking about doing a retro and need to discuss this out to get it done right. For better lighting, I know and agree with getting some Hella e-codes, cibies, or possibly hella DOT approved housings with some good...
H&R would give a more sporty ride and lower it a bit more which is a part of that. But they do have a stiffer ride than the eibachs. The ONLY thing to do in my opinion is go look at some pictures. Search H&R and search the eibachs and see how much they lower. Depends what rims you're going to go...
This thread is a good example of community help.
I like that his problem was presented, people suggested things and he came back using all of the ideas to get it to work.
Shouldn't be a problem cutting and re-using.
