I used to have those on my old 240sx and my 89 Supra. Very fun to install (sarcasm), especially the oil gauge. Simple to get up and running though, just ground and 12 volt source (used the cig lighter)...

yes I do..:D I figured. My 89 sat for a month, with only code 31, once I replaced the eletronics, it started doing it.. it's okay, I'm due an oil change (I got 5 quarts of german castrol + filter at autozone for $25 FTW!!!), should change the plugs as well...

unless it's free, it's not worth it to buy a 7MGTE exhaust... go 3 inch with a removable silencer, once you go turbo, remove it, as the turbo actually quiets down the exhaust a bit..

yeah, it came with electronics, which is what I was after; he tossed in the housing to protect it during shipping.. I used the electronics, and my car no longer throws code 31 (checked codes multiple times), however it breaks up at around 4,000 rpm, as if I'm hitting fuel cut, but it doesn't...

You'd think, but I've heard you need the turbo electronics and harness, even though the 2JZGE has a distributor and an MAF instead of the 7MGTE's coilpacks and Karmann AFM... just seems to me like a bunch of stuff won't mix..

I have a stock 89, stock 90+ and a JDM TTR in my cars, and my favorite believe it or not is the 90+ airbag wheel.. not for it's style (it's hideous), but it's just so damn comfortable, and that's what's important to me..!

I lived there for 15 years, it's usually a very quiet street, so no worries here..:D
