I had those round taillights on my Supra.. you get 3 or 4 inch PVC tubing and cut to fit, looked pretty good during the night and stock during the day, but I decided to take them out..

saw that on a ford focus once, it was actually pretty distracting and annoying..

only problem with the detachable hub, is your wheel gets pushed forward, so if your car doensn't have telescopic adjustment, you need to sit further back or get used to the new position..

the pull you feel at 4k rpms is from the ACIS system Toyota uses on several of it's engines, including the 7MGE, it's a valve in the intake manifold that opens up/closes depending on the RPMs..
