Well if you have never dropped a tranny before just give yourself a day to drop and install the new one. It is not terribly difficult but you just need to figure out the tricks needed.
Well if your going to go through the effort and do the piping you might as well get a new intercooler core as well. It all depends on power goals and more importantly money.
I understand that the OS clutch may be very hard to drive on the street but if you are looking for 500-600rwhp you will need that clutch setup. It can be done on a single disc but if you already have the twin plate then you might want to keep it?

Driftmotion sells a R154 Transmission rebuild kit for 240. I would get the junkyard one as it does have a 30 day guarentee. That way you can see if you like it or return it. If that doesn't work out you can always get the transmission rebuilt.

Well I tried unplugging the ISCV and it still idles high. Is there any way to close it? Can I apply voltage the one of the ISCV plugs and get the valve to close? My other option is to make the block off plate but would prefer to try and close it first.
