oh, ill check my connections too then, but whats weird is when mine starts bouncing its very random, it only happens once every week or so.

little off topic......but what would cause the speedo to bounce?

already have:icon_bigg that pic is a couple weeks old...since then Ive hit it with 2000grit, rubbing compound, and some mag polish and just put it on tonight and some new valve cover gaskets too. Ill get a pic tomorrow.

Heres an Idea of where you can get, I got this ported and polished manifold from Will (s383mmber1) a few weeks ago he went up to 800grit, then I followed up and went all the way to 2000grit....it looks a lot better now then in this pic, but you get the idea.

cant really get to much from the vid..... but from the sounds of it I think you distributor might be a tooth off or so.....try setting your engine to TDC then setting the dizzy back to 1.

yep, deff. the heater core.... just to give you an idea of how much you have to take out I attached some of the pics when I did mine. I know it looks like a lot, but if you just take your time and when you take bolts, nuts etc off put them in seperate baggies so you know where they came from its...

yes, but I also think the batt. was dying in the multimeter too so that prob contributed to it.

it was no resistance, thanks jeff but I went and got new ones and the cap and rotor and it solved my problem. thanks though:icon_bigg

Ok.... Im trying to get to the bottom of my misfire problem.... I tried checking my spark plug wires as in the TSRM and im not getting a resistance at all do I need to replace them?

yea, ive been begining to think about that. I was pretty sure that it was ignition because it didnt start happening till I messed with some of my ignition parts. Is it possible that the relay could go bad all of the sudden? oh and ive got a walbro fuel pump, bypassed j-tube, and a new fuel...

anyone? any help would be great EDIT: it only misses on heavy acell.

ok, still getting a slight misfire on occasions...what else could I be missing?

and thats why some states say if you have a roll cage it must have pads on it. But I still dont understand whys harnesses are concitered illegal in some states esp if they are installed right.
