The 7M harness charging system stays in tact. You will have to buy 5 foot or so off 2 gauge wires and run it from the alternator back to where the stock one you're holding is. Also the plug in the back of the alternator has 3 wires. Those come out at the HUGE square plug next to the fuse box on...
White can be oil.. It can also be coolant.. I would suggest you pressure test your cooling system. If you are looking coolant into the combustion chamber you will get worse gas mileage because your compression will not be as high, and your motor will not perform as it should.

Pop could be from the CPS or timing not being right. Did you check your master cylinder inside the car? Sometimes they leak and they're no good, also check the lines for any leaks and the slave cylinder.
Very true. I see a lot of people put them on the top rad hose. That temp doesn't really do much until the thermostat has opened, I would have the thermostat tapped at the bottom before the thermostat.
I doubled checked this would be nice for a sticky. all the plugs are really the same for all years,, just different colors and something a little different style, but they're in the same location. I am going to complete another set for a jza70 harness so, and so forth.
