They did but not to swap into a USDM ma70 sir =) I want to get one and do this to help hundreds of people. I will probably get the 2nd gen harness which I am sure is about the same.
I was curious as to if anyone had the part number for this harness. I am going to buy a new one so I can do some wiring schematics for everyone on this site. After I am done with it I will sell it for what I paid to someone if it is needed.
Thanks.
I would have to look at it again at it. I didn't have the harness very long to really see that one, I am sure that one I did do though would be correct. If I can get a part number for a jza70 harness I may buy one do a wiring schematic and then just sell it to someone after I am done. I hope to...
#1 - Engine Harness being too short? Myth or not? Pics? I have read on other forums that people have used hole cutters and added a grommet into the firewall next to the throttle cable and successfully snaked the harness behind the dash to the passgr kick panel. True or False? Any links or pics...
You don't know how long a JDM motor has sat. Also the 7M's over time with there iron block can rust very badly. I have seen some come here and when someone took it apart it was horrid. Someone on this forum post pic's before. Rebuild for sure. At least you know what you're getting.
I just did a 1jz swap. I went through the whole motor cleaned everything new gaskets water pump thermostat, 3" Rad with an E-fAn I can let that car idle for over 20 minutes and rev it, never rises, this is weird! The Rad does not even get way way to hot either, gotta love it =)
Matt I take it your harness is cut? I truly to make this easier on yourself would get a new harness. It may take a long time to find every wire. those stupid soarer and chaser harnesses have a lot of the same damn colors too ! :(
You need a good amount of stuff lol. For starters look at the stickys. you can look at my thread in sticky for a 1jz swap basically the same, 1jz is better if you're on a budget.
Pink is what it should be. It should be on your Gray connector ( M1 ) it is located on that plug right next to a yellow/Green which is your water temp sensor, on the other side of the pink wire, there is a open spot.
Damn sucks you got those from him. I buy from this company on ebay. They're awesome people, and along with that the mounts are perfect! I have bought from them twice now. NO ISSUES. Actually the 1JZ swapped car I did is at my house right now. I am putting a new oil pan on since his is a little...
That plug has two wires--
1. #160 A/C water temp s/w no. 2 --------------Blue \ White
2. A/C water temp switch ------------ Green \ Red
that is what they are. The 2nd one looks like the b2 plug, but uh, I am sure it is not, looks like something o do with ABS, if I had a...
I am going to link everyone very soon. I am awaiting someone to get me the Adobe PDF files for Toyota Connector plugs. It's a sit of all the Plugs Toyota makes on all models.
If there is anything I have missed please let me know. Pelase remember this is if you have a 5-speed chassis already, otherwise you'll have to buy a lot do 5-speed swap parts.
