It will only help the idle while you're turning, it raises idle slightly to offset the load put on the engine by the ps pump at idle.
Can't really see if the EGR has been removed, it should be by the firewall side of the fuel rail...

A/C lines have been removed, that white plug by the AFM is for the a/c and those open lines on the firewall are for a/c.

Don't do whats cheaper, if it takes a bit more time whatever, but do it the way you want it done.
Use a 7mgte harness and ECU and you wont have a problem. Just make sure the ECU you get for the swap plugs into your dash harness. Theres only 2 different size plugs to ECU. So if you have a grey plug ECU and it doesnt fit you need a yellow plugs.
FYI I have an 89 and needed to use a yellow...
Went back to the dyno yesterday, ended up making 456@ 16psi but i was running out of fuel up top so we turned it back down to 12psi.
Gotta trouble shoot to find out why my afpr isnt raising the fuel pressure, maybe a bad pump. Mine whines like hell.
Not trying to knock anyone, but an engine running lean on pump gas may cause detonation. If the ecu sees this as knock and retards the timing that could be why the numbers were higher with race fuel.

Yup, I should have updated this thread though. Found my alternator isn't charging my batt. I'm pretty sure this is causing the timing issues. It's a new alt and batt tho so I have no idea what to look for. If you think you can help out check out my thread in the electrical section.

My alternator isn't putting a charge into the batt, it's a brand new alternator and the batt load tested good.
It started when I did a hard pull earlier today.
Swapped out the alternator with a known good one and still not charging.

I'm actually running new square mounts, doesn't seem to have too much movement, but my downpipe does hit the firewall a little when i shift.
