so i got my rebuild kit in and put new mains and thrusts in and slapped in the crank shaft in. now that i am looking at the old mains i realize that there is one set of mains that are bigger (wider) than the other sets. i guess i was not paying attention or something, but i imagine that its pretty important that i pull the crank back out and figure out where these ones go. anyone know where they go?
one set of main bearings wider than others? (7mgte)

so... im going to go out on a limb here and say its the number one cap isnt it? i just measured it and its exactly 1/8 bigger than the other caps.

The front bearing should not even fit into any of the other positions as the locating tang is on the opposite side.
well look at that, somehow i managed to put them in correctly without even knowing, im SO glad i wasted 2 hours pulling my crank shaft back out lol.... thanks anyways
Better to double check and see you did it the right way then to not double check and have them be wrong.
